ABOUT US
Janine Anderson and Terry LeLievre, founders and principals of North Beach Landscapes, have studied gardens and landscapes for over 20 years,
both at home and abroad. Each has graduated from the Horticulture Program
at Edmonds Community College, earning Associate of Technical Arts degrees
in Landscape Design and Certificates in Ornamental Horticulture.
Janine is a Certified Professional Horticulturist, having passed the
certification examination administered by the Washington State Nursery & Landscape
Association, and has worked at one of the Seattle area’s premier nurseries.
Her portfolio includes projects ranging from small urban gardens to large
custom homes. She also designs container gardens for landscape of all
sizes. Janine has been a volunteer guide at the Washington Park Arboretum
for over 10 years, and she contributes articles to the Washington Park
Arboretum Bulletin and serves on its Editorial Board.
Terry brings valuable hands-on experience in the design and construction
of exterior hardscape elements, such as fences, arbors, decks, and patios,
as well as a strong background in soil renovation and arboriculture.
Both are members of many local and national horticultural and professional
organizations.
